G.R.O.W.N. Networking Membership Group
Vision Statement
To provide a resource and networking organization for women that gives them the “power” and “freedom” to launch their start-up business by developing their transferable skills. Taking them from career to entrepreneurship.
Purpose
The purpose behind the G.R.O.W.N. network group is to bring like-minded women together in a space where they can feel comfortable sharing the Highs and Lows of the many accomplishments they have had over many years of being in work environments that they may have been stifled. This is a fear-free environment. Develop yourself to reach the goals and accomplishments to be that powerful GROWN woman.
Focus
The group will provide solid networking relationships and resources for women to be able to take their entrepreneurial business to the next level with the focus on launching as a required goal.
Must-Haves
G.R.O.W.N. is a networking group with the following “must-haves”:
• Must be serious about being leaders in their businesses.
• This is a diverse group
• The group’s target market is women
• It is for start-ups to build their businesses and seasoned entrepreneurs to expand
• This is an entrepreneur-based group
• We want to be revenue generators
• We must feel free to talk, with respect, and confidentiality of ideas and visions is necessary
• Leaders of networking forum groups will be posted on the website with the location
• Resources on the website Library
• Featured Monthly Leader with action
• Monthly Meetings with Beverages
Flexibility
We may have speakers that will not be entrepreneurs, but can provide solid and beneficial information to our group. This will include speakers and presenters from corporate companies, government agencies and private businesses. Although, we are a women’s group male speakers that can provide pertinent information on start-up business success will be invited to speak. The membership is only for G.R.O.W.N. Women.
Group Visualization
This group will start as a networking mixer to build the membership. The meetings will be held at different locations throughout Boston Massachusetts. Our main location for the group sessions will be in Dorchester at the Fields Corner Business Lab. The dynamic of the group will be a mixture of women from different backgrounds and entrepreneurial businesses. Depending on the type of networking event it will either be open for all or for members only.
